It relied too much on quirky comedy and attempted the blended genre gameplay without much success (it didn’t help that the main kicking mechanic was poorly implemented). This one didn’t bore me to death or disappoint me, but I felt its penchant for following indie trends was its own demise, sort of like how you can watch a Fall release in the cinema and know that it was built ground up for award season. I will give it credit a bit towards the end, as the Keyblade Graveyard and its constant boss fights was the one redeeming bit.
